community allotment
Pottery Bank Community Allotment is open to the local community in and around Walker. Come along by yourself or in a group to learn how to plant and grow tasty produce. We have different courses available or you can pop along as a volunteer to pick up the basics. Nelli has her wellies on and looks forward to meeting you!
Her motto is
Plant Dreams – Pull Weeds – Grow Happy Life

COMMUNITY ALLOTMENT
We love our veggies here at Pottery Bank we have grown potatoes, leeks, cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbages and even pumpkins here! Home-grown always taste the best we think so if you're looking for fresh veggies pop in to see us and see what's available, we also grow bedding plants too!

ALLOTMENT COURSES
We run seasonal courses all year round. Every season has got a job to offer or a reason to celebrate, so we are always busy looking after the garden, learning to cook or crafting. It's also a good excuse to get out and get some fresh air!

COMMUNITY GARDEN
Community Garden is our most recent project. We are working on creating a beautiful and relaxing place for all the community to enjoy, including wildlife. This year we are growing native species of plants to attract pollinators and birds and it’s definitely working. Please visit us when you are passing by as a garden is a friend that you can always visit!
