Our food hub is supported by donations from local supermarkets, businesses and local residents.
We are constantly looking for funding and donations to keep the food hub open to benefit our local community when they need our help.
PAY AS YOU FEEL SUPERMARKET
We run a "Pay as you feel supermarket" every Wednesday between 10:00 - 12:00. People can come in and select items from a selection of fruit and vegetables grown in our allotment and other items that have been donated for a small donation. The donations made from our PAYF go towards restocking items for our monthly essential's food parcels.
DONATIONS
At Pottery Bank Food Hub we rely solely on donations from local businesses, charities and the local community. We are always looking for donations to help towards our food bank as without these we would not be able to keep going, If you have any spare items you wish to donate or would like to find out more about what we do contact the centre.
MONTHLY FOOD PARCELS
Once a month on a Wednesday we give out a essential's food parcel to people in the local area who are needing support (we ask for a contribution of £3 one bag per household). Each bag contains items such as cereal, tea or coffee, tinned food, pasta or rice, toiletries or cleaning products and frozen items. The bags can differ each month as it depends on the donations we receive.
